About:Xiamen Transportation

We will be in Xiament 17 June for 3 weeks. Friend want to go Shanghai Expo and want to take bus or train, how much and how long journey. She says airplane too expensive.
Please advise what is best way to travel and where we can stay in Shanghai and how much expo tickets cost. thank you.

Xiamen has bullet trains to Shanghai, which takes 7.5 hours at least. It is said that 15 hours are needed if travel by bus. So, I think bullet train is better choice. The train ticket is 358/429RMB per person for second and first class seats.
