About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hi there,

We are traveling to China in October and will be leaving from Bejing and Finishing in Hongkong, we want to travel from hong kong to Hanoi on the Train thanking you for the info(you should first go to Guangzhou from Hong Kong, then go to Nanning, take a train from Nanning to Hanoi) after reading the visa requirements I know that we have to get a double entry visa to do this. But to get our visa it says that we have to show return airline tickets. But we are travelling by train to go into Vietnam for the next part of our trip, would we then have to show these tickets when we apply for visa as we were just going to get them when we were in Hong Kong.

We are travelling in an Australian and NZ passports.

Ms.Tracey, in fact, in most situations, the return flight tickets are not required for Applicants of Australia and New Zealand. to ensure that you can get a double-entry visa, you can write your itinerary on the Visa Application Form, state that you need to go to Beijing-Hong Kong-Guangzhou-Nanning-Hanoi, then the visa officer will know that you need double-entry visa, have a try, I know that you can't provide the train ticket from Nanjing-Hanoi.
