About:Beijing Weather

Hi, my family and I will be visiting Beijing, Xian, Wuhan, yangtze River, Shibaozhai, Fengdu, Chongqing and Suzhou-Shanghai from July 6 to the 20th and we would like to know how will the weather be like and what type of clothing should we bring. Also we would like to know if it will it rain a lot so that it would interfere with the sigh seeing. In short we would like to know if it is a good time to go or if we should wait to go earlier in the summer next year?

All of these places are in hot summer. Beijing, Xian and Wuhan has little rainfall in downtown area; however, since the weather is changeful this year, you may have cool days as well.

Places along Yangtze River and Chongqing is hot and muggy due to plenty of water. Suzhou and Shanghai will be hot and cloudy, but please protect you from the strong radiation. Anyway, just wear your summer clothes will be ok, and prepare long shirts and jeans.

Actually, I think the mid-May to June will be nicer for traveling in these cities, but June~August for Yangtze River.
