I see a lot of tour companies online offering daytrips to the Chengdu Panda Centre & Museum for around $70 US. If I fly to Chengdu (or take a train), is it possible (and easy enough!) to visit this center just by myself without a tour guide? Is it easy to catch a bus to the center and back again? Is the Center easier to visit than Bifengxia? I want to take photos of the pandas with lots of greenery around, not just buildings, so I heard that the Center is nicer than Bifengxia, which is more suited for people who want to volunteer to work with the Pandas.
