Our flight going back to manila is at 8:25 am.  Since we have to be at the airport at 6:00 am, what transportation should we take from carnarvon road?

It seems you do not need to get there so earlier. I think 1.5-2 hours ahead of time is enough. If you have to reach the airport bus bus, you can walt for bus N21A at Haiphong Road/Nanthan Road at sharp 5am.
