I live in Hawaii and will be going to Shenzhan in May, I am flying into Honk Kong, and then traveling by ground to Shenzhan, would it be easier to get a visa for my 5 days in Shenzhan in Honk Kong, or to send off for a Visa on the mainland.

Mr.Richard, USA passport holders can't apply for China visa on arrival, you have to obtain a China visa before going to China, you can apply for China visa in Hong Kong or Consulate of China in Los Angeles.
