good day. i need a bit of information. i arrive in beijing from bangkok on 9/7/2010 at 3:30 p.m. and my flight leaves the next day 9/8/2010 at 9:00 a.m. to japan. I will need to get some kind of rest such as a hotel. Will i be able to leave the airport to find a hotel or do i stay in the airport? Is there any type of hotel within the terminal so I can rest until the next day. Is visa needed. Kindly assist. thank you!

Mr.jay, you need a visa for the transit if you go out of the airport even though your stopover in Beijing airport is less than 24 hours. If you can find a hotel within the airport, you don't need a transit visa.
