About:China Customs Declaration

Hello my name is Brian, i really need help with this. My friend is leaving China and coming to USA on 3 month visa and stay with me. I need to know if the following information is true. Please.

Proof of Finances: Proof that traveler(s) can support his/herself during their entire stay in the United States of America without working, e.g. pay statement that shows regular monthly salary & bank books with regular history of deposits and withdrawals, etc. (Please note that certificates of deposit are NOT helpful).
However, and according to the China/USA Immigration department and homeland affairs, all intended visitors/first time traveler(s) to The United States of America must show evidence of funds or show travelers cheques (Credit card statements are not acceptable). For American visitors,Intended traveler(s) must show $50(USD) per day during his/her stay in the US for a minimum of 90 days (Three months).Making a total of $4500.

The funds may either be presented in cash at the Chinese customs/exit department at the departing airport or in travelers cheque. Failure to comply with this immigration requirements from China will render intended traveler(s) invalid and denial of boarding permit.Medical Insurance is already included in this funds.

NOTE! This funds are only for proves that intended traveler can support his/her trip financially while visiting United States and will not be tampered with by any airport official.

I had the same experienxce from Australia but all I did was send a true bank statement of how much funds I had to support my friend. Perhaps the ruling is different for USA
