Sir, I am married to a Chinese lady, we are planing on going to China soon,in a few month, I have a visa form, Passport Pic, copy of my USA passport, and going to DC to put in for a visa, Q, is there any other thing I need for this to happen and would I be getting the Visa same day, I want a 1 to 2 year Visa, thank you

You also need to prepare the original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate. Foreign spouse of a Chinese citizen may apply for a Multiple Entry L Visa valid for 24 months. The original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate is required to provide.
