About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi, I am a US citizen going from Kuala Lumpur back to the US. I have a 7 hour layover in Beijing. Do I need a transit visa in order to leave the airport and visit the city?

yes, you need a transit visa if you leave the airport and visit the city.
