About:Shenzhen Weather

my husband and I are traveling from the USA to Shenzhen, China on April 10. 2010. The plane will arrive in Hong Kong at 7:30 PM on Sunday. Will there be public transportation to take us to Shenzhen, China?

Also do many wear jeans in China? What will the weather be like? My son is teaching for the Shenzhen Fuitan District and we would like to find a nice hotal in this area,
any ideas?

Any sugguestions would be appreciated.

It is very easy to find buses to Shenzhen in Hong Kong Airport. Bus is available before 22:00. The weather is quite warm and you can wear t-shirt and take a light jacket with you.

Bernice,

I was a Shenzhen native (my parents still live in FuTian District in Shenzhen) but have been living in US for many years. When you get out the airport exit, look for the B exit and in front of it, there were many counters, look for No. 8 counter for a mini-Van service called "Yong Dong". It can sit 7 passengers and you pay HK$150, it'll take you all the way to "Huang Guang" custom. Make you to tell them your destination is "Huang Guang" custom as they have many destinations. You don't even need to get off the van to go through the custom in this van. They don't have to wait until all 7 seats were filled. Normally 15 minutes after you board, it'll take off. You could find a cheaper maybe HK$90 for a big bus, that comes every 1 hour.

It's absolutely okay to wear jeans. People don't wear shorts much. April in Shenzhen can be hot. I'm vacationing in Shenzhen right now. We had 80F last week but it's cooling down now this week.

Ms Anderson,

Just wanted to check if the counters in Hong Kong airport accept Credit Cards or for the mini bus services?

By the way, is Shen Zhen Wan same as Huang Guang?

Regards,
Jessie
