Yes, there are some wholesales markets near the East Asia Hotel at the Beijing Road next to the Haizhu square and that is the ideal place to go for the women's or children's apparels, but I haven’t seen any Halal food restaurants around that aria . There is a place named Xiaobei in Yuexiu district of Guangzhou and you can see so much Muslim brothers all around of Xiaobei ,so it is certainly unnecessary for you to worry about the Halal foods there There are so many Muslim restaurants are running by Turks ,Arabians , Uyghur Muslims ,Tonggan Muslims and some other Muslims from all around the world . It gets about 20 minutes to get to Xiaobei by metro from your hotel.
