About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Dear Sir,
I and my wife are retirees. Can we both apply 12 months visas to stay at Hainan and rent an apartment or stay at our relatives' house there?
Can we keep on applying 12 months visas continuously to stay at Hainan every year?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
With regards.

First, it is a little hard to get a multiple entry visa valid for 12 months, second, even though you can get a multiple entry visa valid for 12 month, you can't stay at Hainan continuously, the maximal stay duration in China is not more than 180 days.
