About:China Flight

Hello!

I am catching an internal flight from Guilin to Chongqing with WEST Air on the 31st of January, and im slightly concerned about their hand luggage weight limits - i hope someone who has experience of flying with them can put my mind to rest! I have a lot of camera equipment (that I have no intention of putting in my backpack to get thrown around by the baggage handlers) which takes my bag to over 10kg. As the limit is 5kg, will they stop me from boarding the plane? I know that some airlines in the UK can be difficult about this and I dont know anything about the airline Im flying with, so reassurance would be appreciated!

I hope someone can help, and thanks in advance!

Please feel ease. No airlines will stop you from boarding the plane. As for your special camera equipment, you can check them with your flight. Musical instrument, sports apparatus, medical instrument and other damageable luggage and luggage of large size are not among the lists of carry-on baggage. You need to check your camera equipment as special luggage or check them as cargo. As for the cost, it depends on the airlines' policy and the status of your camera equipment. You can consult your airlines for the details.
