About:China Eastern Airlines

Hello!

I am currently finishing my last two weeks in Taipei as an overseas student. Have been in Taiwan for my Chinese, approx. 4 months ... however, i am flying back to see my family in Shanghai where they currently live and have bought quite a few gifts, and others ... I weighed my luggage and it is around 24-25 kg ... I know there is a limit of 20kg .. but is it really a BIG deal, 4 kilos more ? .. :( .. i am asking because one time, during my first trip to Taiwan, I had a lot too coming back home and they allowed me to fly and not pay for 4-5 kilos more .. According to the number of passengers, my overseas program student situation, etc ... is there a chance or not? i am just stressing because of this luggage allowance .. Thank you very much! ps: and if not, how much would it cost me ?!

Yes, the regulations for the excess luggage sometimes slightly vary under different situations. Thus, you can consult the details by contacting the airlines directly, since this is just a website for a booking agency.
