About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

i have a multiple visa. my trip is on dec 15 - feb 19. the total amount of days i can stay is 60 days. i was wondering how do you count the sixty days? is it once i step foot into guangzhou that when they start counting? Do they keep counting if i go travel to shanghai and hong kong since i will not be in guangzhou?? Or if they count does that mean i need to be back in guangzhou by feb 14?? really confused about the 60 days visa. Don't know how they will count the days.

The 60 days stay is counted from the date you step your foot to mainland China to the date you exit Mainland China, within the stay duration you can go to Guangzhou, Shanghai and other cities in the Mainland China, in the visa regulation, Hong Kong is regarded as a foreign territory, go to Hong Kong means exit Mainland China.
