About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

My son, who also has US citizenship is on a long trip right now. He is in Canada, then will go to Nepal next week, then to New Zealand, then to Korea. He will not be back in the US until March 1. His friend in Korea wants to take him to China. But he needs to send in his passport for a VISA. This is a problem. Should he wait until he gets to Korea and apply at the Chinese consul? Or could he do that in Nepal? Thank you!

30 min is obviously not enough, you need to least at leave one hour for the connection.
