Hi

I have purchased a laptop computer from mutualshops.com. Paid my money, now told that computer is held up in China customs, and I have to pay a tariff to have the computer released. I have called FEDEX as well sent a email to e-to-china.com and they both tell me that there is no tariff charge on exporting laptop computers from China, mutualshops.com also sent a copy of the customs invoice, spelling errors in the invoice.

Dear Mr. Balazovic,

I am a Chinese British and have just return from a holiday in Nanning, Guangzi County, early April, 2019. This was not the first time holiday in China. Over the last few years, I have been to Beijing, Xian and Kumming. Everything has been fine.

At the Customs in Nanning Airport, I have had huge shocking experience! My elephant tusk-bracelet
I was wearing, was confiscated. The bracelet was a birthday present given by my daughter 15 years ago. Up till now, I still cannot come to terms and accept such an ABRUPT and HARSH actions without any warnings and considerations taken on me. Apparently, it is a law that no one is allowed to bring
in any elephant tusks jewelleries.

As far as I am concerned, it was ONLY one piece of the bracelet I was wearing. It was NOT a box of elephant tusks I took along with me.

Though the confistication is not a scam, it is too much for a tourist to take on.
