Hi,I need a Visa for china asap as I'm flying for Shanghai on Monday. I can't get it from Chinese Embassy in Singapore, but I heard that in HK it's possible to get it within the same day. Is this true? Does it also apply to non resident in HK. I hold a French passport and I'm resident in Singapore. The idea would be to fly to HK on Sunday, make my visa on monday and fly monday evening. Let me know. Thanks, Vivian

Yes, it is easier to get a Chinese visa in Hong Kong. The Commissioner's Office of the China's Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong SAR provide rush service, you can get your visa within the same day. but you need pay extra HK$ 250.
