About:Changchun Travel

hi I'm planning to go to Changchun next month. I wanna go to Jilin city and Changbaishan, but I have trouble of the transportation. Could be grateful if you could help to review my plan and/or give me some sugguestions. My plan was:
Flight from Shenzhen to Changchun then train to Jilin city. After watching the WuSong 雾凇, then take the train to ChangBaiShan.
But I have checked the train schedule seems like very long trip and I only have 4 days for my trip. Am I be too greedy to visit 2 places in one time? I hardly get my holiday and really wanna see as much as I can!! anyways, thanks for your help!!

Yes, it take a long time by train from Jilin to Changbaishan, not beacause you are are greedy. My suggestion: take train to Dunhua from Julin (in 3.5 hours) and then take bus from Dunhua to Changbaishan, about 4 hours. Hope this helps.

I donot think it will be safe for you if you are going to Changbai Moutain,cause in the winter, the roads are not safe for going up the moutain. Take care!

SOLUTION TO TRAIN TRIP TO CHANGBAISHAN

I found a relatively quick route to Changbaishan ANTU village from JILIN.

Take the train Jilin to Antu. Around 6 am and around noon 12 pm there are 4.5 to 5 hour trains. Not so bad.

From Changchun it is horrible horribly long. If in Changchun, can find train to Jilin takes a half hour. Worth it.
