About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Dear Sir
I currently hold a 12 month Multi Entryvisa which I use for buisness in Xiamen, Fujian Province.
I note that the longest I can stay in China is 30 days at any one visit.
My contacts/coleauges in Xiamen are keen for me to stay longer on my visits to China as our mutual businesss involve a lot of travel to Stone Quarries , Factories etc.

Is there a temporary Residents Visa or some such which would enable me to stay longer than 30 days in your Magnificent Country!

Kind Regards

GEORGE K. GRACE (CEO Guild Masonry Pty. Ltd.)

If the China embassy only grant you 30 days duration for each entry on your visa, you will be only allowed stay for 30 days, but you may apply for extension of duration from the local public security bureau.

If most of the time you stay in Xianmen, you can simply go to Jinmen for the exit and re-entry purpose (border between China mainland and Taiwan). It is just like that you can go to Hongkong for the exit and re-entry purpose. With the new ENTRY stamp, another 30 days can be re-activated. It is quite close and easy to do it in Xiamen.

Hello: The school should assist you in making you work visa. If they do not, then they are not serious about getting you a work visa and having work there legally. Be very careful of these schools. The often promise to assist you with work visas but they don't and before long you are working illegally. China is really cracking down on schools and teachers working on L visas and F visas....beware
