Hi, Mutianyu and Simatai have different views. Mutianyu is a repaired wall, and you will feel very safe when walk on it. But Simatai is wild and broken. It is liked by many photographers and trekkers. In my opinion, since you will visit the wall by the end of November. You should try a nice day with no snow to go. If it snows, you had better go to Mutianyu.

Hi,

I went to Simatai this past summer and it was the best part of my trip to china. we rented a private car to take 4 of us there, wait for us, and take us back. that cost about $200 but was well worth it since it's about a 2.5-3 hour ride. The sights at the wall were amazing and once your done you can zipline off the edge, over the river to the bottom in which you take a boat ride back to the parking lot...very cool! Highly reccomend it!
