About:Shenzhen Weather

Hello,
We plan to tour Shenzhen during Christmas 2009. Please suggest the best way to travel from HK airport to Shenzhen and the approx cost and time required. Where is the best shopping district in Shenzhen and what are the hotels nearby? What type of clothings should I bring?

Hong Kong Airport has cross-border shuttle but to Shenzhen. I takes one hour to Luohu district and the fare is aboout 150HKD. If you want cheaper way. Use Airport Bus A21 to Hung Hom Train Station to catch the Train to Lowu (Luohu) via East Rail. It costs less than 70HKD, perhaps you may take more time on the way. As to the weather in Dec, it is about 10-17C. Quite warm I think. Good Luck~

A shopping place in Shenzhen? Of course, please do shopping in Luohu where you culd find wholesale markets and commercial streets.

I find the most hassle free and quickest way is by ferry, straight from the airport to Shekou in Shenzhen. and then just catch a cab to your destination

Dongmen is the best shopping center, but please take care of belonging and also careful of fake exchange bills. take bus n43 from HK airport to shenghui.. can ask where is bus station as its near and ask bus to shenghui, most can speak english,(20hkd)20 mins >>> get train shenghui to luwo 10 mins one stop (20 hkd) cross border takes 15 to 20 mins depending on cue of foreigners. approx time travel, 40 mins to max 90 mins. fare cost 40 hkd :) last bus is 10:30pm from airport
