About:Summer Palace

Hi,
If I have half day time to visit summer palace, can you advise me which area or location that I need to visit most. Or please kindly give me efficient route to visit summer palace.
I will be travelling on 1st or 2nd January and I will take subway as transportation mode.

You can take Subway Line 4 to the North Gate of Summer Palace. Here is the route taking about 4 hours for your reference:
North Gate - Suzhou Market Street - Hall of the Sea of Wisdom - Pavilion of Buddhist Incense - Baoyun Pavilion - Hall of Dispelling Clouds - Long Gallery - Marbel Boat - Nanhu Island - Seventeen-Arch Bridge - Bronze Ox - West Causeway of Kunming Lake - Hall of Jade Ripples - Yiyun House - Hall of Joyful Longevity - Hall of Virtue and Harmony - Hall of Benevolence and Harmony - East Palace Gate
