Dear Mr. Ward, you have made a mistake. There is no airport, more accurately, no civil airport in Suzhou. The nearest airport from Suzhou is in Shanghai.
There are two ways to go to Suzhou from Lagos Nigeria:
Lagos-Beijing-Suzhou or Lagos-Shanghai-Suzhou
a. Lagos-Beijing-Suzhou
From Lagos to Beijing, there are flights daily and direct flights provided by China Southern Airlines are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
From Beijing to Suzhou, you go there by train, which will take 9.5 to 11 hours.
Train schedule:
Z85, 19:32-06:22, 10 hours and 50 minutes.
Fare: CNY170 for a hard seat, CNY290 for a hard berth (upper bunk), CNY300 for a hard berth (middle bunk), CNY309 for a hard berth (lower bunk), CNY452 for a soft berth (upper bunk), CNY472 for a soft berth (lower bunk).
D313, 21:20-06:51, 9.5 hours.
Fare: CNY427 for a second-class seat, CNY512 for a first-class seat.
b. Lagos-Shanghai-Suzhou
From Lagos to Shanghai, there are daily flights, but no direct flights. You have to transfer at Dubai, Doha, Paris or Beijing. From shanghai to Suzhou, you can take a bus, and it will take about 1 hour by bus.
