hi im carl i already booked a roundtrip flight to hk from manila can i go to shenzhen for just a day im planning to have some sight seeing there for just one day then ill go back to hong kong do i need to apply for a chinese visa or can i go there easily from hongkong? please let me know

Yes, you need a visa to get to Shenzhen from hong Kong. You can arrange the visa in one day in Hong Kong and visa-on-arrival is also availabe at that time then.
