Generally after October, it will be too cold to visit the Everest Base Camp and the remote area in Tibet. The hotels in Tibet always cannot provide good heating system, so the accommodation condition will be very poor then. Heavenly Lake Namtso and Yamdrok Yumtso Lake share a lot in common, comparatively speaking, the Heavenly Lake Namtso is far from Lhasa but it is more beautiful and famous than others. It will take about 3 hours from the downtown area to the lake one way, and the tour there will be a little bit hard, while it worthwhile your time.
