About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hello!
My Girlfriend (Traveling on a British passport) and myself (traveling on a Australian passport) want to catch the ferry from Osaka to Shanghai. Is it possible for us to apply for a Chinese Tourist L visa here in Japan? We are both traveling on a 90 day Japanese Tourist Visa.

Yes, you can apply for a China L tourist visa from the China embassy in Japan.
