Very difficult to give you an accurate distance from Beijing to Macau. Well, Beijing is in north China and Macau is in south China, so should be very far from each other. For a comfortable journey, you could take flight from Beijing to Macau directly. But for a budget one, you could fly to Zhuhai firstly and then enter into Macau by passing through Gongbei Port easily.

Since you will go to HK, you could consider flying to HK from Beijing directly or flying to Shenzhen and then to HK. Both of these two airlines are much cheaper than airlines from Beijing to Macau.

Beijing: 3~5 days, HK: 3 days, Macau: 1 day
