About:Beijing Capital Airport Shuttle Bus

Hi
I would like to get to Xingang Port from Beijing Airport using the airport express and then the bullet train to Tanggu (four services a day?)from Beijing South Station.I will then need to get a taxi from Tanggu station to the port.Is this correct? How far is it to the port and can you suggest what the taxi fare will cost? Is this possible to do in about 4 hours depending on the train schedules?

Also is there a subway line transfer from Dongzhimen(with luggage in tow) I can use to Beijing south station?

Cheers
Mrs Lin

HI Lin, neither the airport express nor the subway could reach Beijing South Railway Station currently. So, if you would like to take the airport express, you have to tranfer to city-bus No.106 which could drive you to the railway station directly. The totally time is about 1.5 hours at least.

On the other hand, you could take the airport shuttle bus Line 1 or Line 3 respectivelly to Fangzhuang or Beijing Railway Station. Then, you could hire a cab to the south railway station quickly with a fare of about 20RMB. And, 1.5 hours is enough.

When you arrive at Tanggu, the taxi could drive you to the port quicky with a fare of about 20RMB. So, I think 4 hours is okay for this journey if you could catch the bus and train smoothly~
