We heard that one of the most authentic hotels in Lhasa is the Thangka Hotel, Lhasa.  Would it be possible for us to stay at this hotel whilst we are in Lhasa.

Tangka Hotel is a new hotel which has not been assessed of stars yet. According to the regulations of Tibet Travel Bureau, this kind of hotel can not serve foreign clients. There are many other good hotels in Lhasa you can choose from, such as Lhasa Hotel (4 star), Four Points by Sheraton Lhasa (4 star), Shangbala Hotel (3 star) and Jiqu Hotel (3 star).
