About:Shenzhen Travel

I am leaving Montreal, Canada for Shenzhen in one month (August 23, 2009). Do I need a Visa for a 14 day stay and where should I get it? And should I be vaccinated? I am going solely on business and I will be travelling from Shenzhen to Guangzhou and then to Foshan and finally back to Shenzhen. What would be the best method of travel between all three cities?

Yes, you have to apply for a China Visa from Chinese Embassy in Canada. Well, you could find detials on China visa and Chinese Embassy at https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm

From Shenzhen to Guangzhou and then to Foshan, I think you could depend on the express trains among them. You could reach Shenzhen from Guangzhou in 1.5 hours by train. And, from Guangzhou to foshan, it is only 30 minutes by train. Of course, the bus from Guangzhou to Foshan is okay, too! From Foshan to Shenzhen, you may consider to take a coach.
