About:China Customs Declaration

Hi, I notice the reference about declaration of gold jewellery. Is the 50grams per item of jewellery ? or if you are taking / wearing more than 50grams of gold total, that you need to declare it ?

Also, I intend on taking some natural supplements such as olive leaf capsules, probitic capsules and a whey / protein powder for my personal use (14 days). Will I need to declare any of these ? Am I best to take them as unopened (ie, a new box / bottle ) or is it OK to take partially used packs ? is one or the other better ? As I said it's for my personal use only

Thanks.
Judy

As for the gold. the limitation is about the total amount. If you take more than that amount, you need to declare and pay duty for the extra amount.
For the natural supplements you want to take, you'd better put them in the original bottle.
