Question

HiMy wife and myself (who are English) reside in Spain. We are transitting through Xingang (on a cruise ship)on February 13 2010. Can we apply for a transit visa from the Chinese Embassy in Madrid, this far ahead, as we will be in Madrid next month?

You can't apply for the China transit visa in next month, because the transit visa is valid for 3 months, if you get it in August, the visa will be  void in November. Please apply for it in December
