About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

hi, I am a invited by a friend to visit him in china will i know the basic requiremnts in applying for a visa??aside from the passprot valid with in 6 months? and the invitation letter of the one who invited me over??please i need it and how much will it cost for me to pay for a tourist /visit visa single entry??/i nedd it asap please. You also need to provide a truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo, round-way qir tickets and hotel booking.
