About:Window of the World, Shenzhen

HI!

We will be to going to HK this August. And we are planning to take a day tour at Shenzhen to experience and see WOW.

Do we need to avail for Chinese VISA?How much would it cost us? Where can we avail?How long would it take to process VISA? CAn we avail it on the spot? How do we get there?

I suggest you get the China visa in Philippines in advance, as the visa on arrival is not so easy to get. China visa has different types. Different types have different costs. You may read this page for China visa types.

Ps: I think you need a tourist visa, right?

If your in HKg, you can get what they call a 5 day Shenzhen visa in the LouHu immigration port. You can go there by train form HKG and apply this visa in the Louhu immigration port. I t owuld take you about an hour to process this, from there once approved you need to look for the Metro Train and get off at the "last station" which is close to WOW, then take a taxi to be sure to get to WOW which is a few minutes away.
