I plan to visit Tibet this winter. Is that possible?.

Travel to Tibet in winter is not a good idea i believe, since the weather will be very bad. You may feel cold at the hotel since there is no center heating system in most hotels of Tibet. And if you want to travel to the surrounding area of Lhasa, the road will be in hard condition due to the bad whether. The best season to travel Tibet is from May to October. You may consider put forward your travel dates a little.
