My boyfriend and I have teaching jobs in Fujian province to start in August 2009.  The university is going to get the appropriate letter for us to take to the the embassy in the UK.  However they say we need to get a physical exam report in the UK and in Beijing. Is this correct? Where can I find a list of authorised hospitals to get the check up done?

Yes, you need physical exam certificate for the Z visa application. As for the authorize3d hospitals, please contact the Chinese embassy In UK for exact info.
