I am flying to Hong Kong from Germany. I have a stop at the Beijing airport and then a couple of hours later I get on my next flight to Hong Kong. Do I need a visa for China even if I am only going to be in the airport for a couple of hours?

No visa is required if you just stay in the airport for less than 24 hours when passing by Beijing, China.
