About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

I am currently in Guangzhou, China. I have a Pamamanian Passport. I have a Hong Kong visa, but i just noticed that my hong kong visa expired on june 2 and my flight back the states is on July 24 from Hong Kong. My first choice is to renew my visa, It is any place in Guangzhou where I can renew my visa? My second choice is to fly from Guangzhou to Hong Kong on China Southern Airlines to catch my flight from Hong Kong back to the States, but my question is Do I need to go through immigration if I will take a next flight in one hour. Do you think one hour is enought to transfer to my other airline?

You don't need a Hong Kong visa if you don't leave the airport transit area within 24 hours.
