About:China Southern Airlines

Hello, appreciate if someone can assist me.
A friend of mine who brought my husband luggage back to manila was charged for 160rmb/kg for the excess of 15kg. He was allowed 20kg under economy. I called up the airline hotline and was informed that the excess of 1kg is only 80rmb? Meaning i was charged double by my friend?!! I really need to know the exact fee so i'll get back to him and complaint. I paid almost USD400.00 for a 15kg excess. Isn't that too expensive? Need your help badly.
Thanks.

I really sympathize with you. The charge for the overweighed luggage depends on the full airfare of economy class. For China Southern Airline, it should be 1.5% of the full price for per kilogram. I think you would better ask the local office of Southern Airline in Manila to solve this trouble. They could be more persuasive on this point.
