About:China Business Visa

Dear Friend,

We have been accepted for a teaching position in China, They have issued us with a F visa for 3 months stating they will change visa to Z visa when we get there. Is this correct and does the F visa allow us to work in china. Thank you for assistance in advance. We are a little concerned with the legitamacy of the company as rather than stating that we are coming to teach, they have said that we are business people invited to come for discussion and consultation. Will we have problems with authorities when we get there and are actually teaching english.

Ms Kirsty,
F visa is issued to applicants who plan to engage in short-term trainning, attending conference(symposium). To work for full time in China ( for a long period), you are supposed to apply for a Z visa. Before going to China, you'd better get the right visa in hand rather than converting F visa into Z visa after your entry.
