About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Arriving via Continental 87 (T2 I think) from EWR at 1:45pm. Departing for PEK at 4:20pm via Air China 983 (also T2 I think). Will I have to get my bags, go through customs, go through security, etc. as an international arrival and then re-check my bags, go through security, etc. as a domestic flyer? Note: The flights are on the same ticket with PEK as my final destination, so will my bags just be forwarded to Beijing without ever being able to be picked up by me in Shanghai?

Hi, Mr. Rooks, I think you will have you bags re-checked although they are in the the same ticket, bacause as I know, Air CHina do not have this service and Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines have such facilities to make passengers' transfer easier like that. You may make a confirmation at the airport!Good luck!
