I will arrive at Shanghai Pudong from Xian at 16.50 on HU 7845, May 2. I need to transfer to Terminal 2 for Qantas flight to Sydney Australia,leaving at 19.35. This leaves 2 hours 45 minutes for the transfer check in and pass through customs. Is this enough time? Will I have to catch a bus to a different terminal?.

Yes, the time is enough. There are free ferry push car shuttling between the two terminals. I you do not want to wait for the car, you can just walk to T2. There are elevator and escaltors can help you there in few minutes. If you have heavy lugguage, suggest you take ferry push car, departing every 10 minutes from Gate 1 of Domestic Departure Hall and Gate 8 of International Departure Hall, Terminal 1.
