I will really appreciate if your let me know the the proper website and other necessary information. Is it possible to get resident permit within expiry date of china visa? Kind regards

Mr Yousaf,You should apply for a resident permit at the local public security where you are currently based. As long as your duration of stay is valid, I think you can obtain a resident permit.
