Dear all, Im planning to spending a week in Dalian in June with a friend. Can you recommend any nice hotels( with walking distance to the beach, quite beach if possible), please? Ive looked up on the web, most of them only mention how close the hotels are to shopping malls ( which I am not very interested in). Also, is it possible to do Diving or Surfing in DaLian? Your info is greatly appreciated

I saw some other hotels are also close to the beach, refering to its general hotel information. As far as tje aquatic sports, you can go to the beach bathing place of Jinshitan.

Dear Ms.XD,I'm a Dalian native girl, welcome to our city in June~ There do have some hotels near the beach, but they're really not as good as those near the shopping malls.They are quite small compared to those.Dalian is not a big big city, and it is definitely not a bad choice to enjoy a nice hotel in our city center(it's much better, trust me~),for you can take a taxi to the beaches in only about 10~40RMB. Besides, it is a pity that I almost have never found an access to diving or surfing. By the way, June here is not very hot yet, maybe it's a little bit cold for swimming.Good luck to you~

Dear All,I really appreciate your speedy response. I spoke to one of my friends yesterday. He suggested there are some islands around Dalian where I should visit. These islands are much quieter and less touristy. Can you kindly advise as what are those Island called,please? How will I get there from the main train station? Any suggestions on the hotels on the island or B&B? By the way, what's the average temperate like around June18th? Thanking you in advance.
