About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hi,

I was hoping to go visit my sister who is currenlty living in china for a 2 week trip. I have read on the website that i will need an "invitation" from her inviting me to come and stay with her in order to have a visa approved. Exactly what should my sister state in this "invitation letter" which will then be accepted by the visa office.

Thank you for your help on this matter

You can apply for a tourist visa for visiting your sister. She needn't to give you an invitation letter. You just said you visit China for sightseeing. Just provide your return flight tickets to the visa officers.
