About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

i am just about to finish high school and i want to travel to shanghai in 2010 and i want to stay with my girlfriend there for around 3 months. can i get a visa that lasts 3 months from australia. u used to live in shanghai but i forgot the visa rules

You can get a visa valid for months. The validity period of average China visa is 3 months.
