About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

I am traveling to Hong Kong in March with 16 college students. Our first option is to go to Shenzhen, tour a factory, eat lunch, shop and then travel back to Hong Kong. Our second option is to go to Shenzhen for the factory tour and then travel to Guangzhou for lunch and to shop before traveling back to Hong Kong. The second option will take four hours longer because of travel time, but we would get to see more of China. Which option would you recommend?

hi susan, just stay in shenzhen and enjoy the sightseeing, it will take a good 2 1/2 hour from SZ to GZ to have lunch by the time you finish lunch and return to hongkong it will be supper time bearing in mind the crossing of the immigration can be troublesome and can take a while . there are plenty of shooping in shenzhen but be extremely careful with fake currencies, inflated prices ( unless you know how to bargain, pickpockets etc. if i will you i will just do the factory visit, and sightseeing, reserve all the shoping in hongkong.
