About:Visa on Arrival

Travel to Shenzhen from HK with British passport

Hello,
I saw that you have recently written “No visa is needed for UK citizens.” For China and Hong Kong, to one of the questions. My main question now is as I am planning to take the HK MTR to Shenzhen, can I now go straight to Lok Ma Chau port with my British passport for the visa free entry or do I need to go to a specific Shenzhen port to get entry; for example the Lou Wo port. As I know previously the Lou Wo port was the only port where you get the 5 day VOA.

Knowing this would help me greatly when planning my journey. Hope to hear from you soon, thank you.

You can use literally any border crossing and any mean of transport you prefer. There are no limits. Lo Wu / Luohu, Huanggang and Shekou are highlighted because they have visa officea and are relevant to those traveling on Shenzhen 5 day VOA... Since you are UK citizen, this VOA is irrelevant for you and you can choose whatever border crossing you prefer. Have a nice visit to Shenzhen.
